skyline announces construction of new headquarter facilities

Skyline Communications announces that it will soon start with the construction of its new HQ offices alongside the E403 highway in Izegem, next to Exit 6. The new facilities, slated to be ready in 2013, will enable the company to further support its continuing growth as global leader for multi-vendor network management software for the IPTV, satellite, broadcast and HFC broadband market.

The new seven-story office building is an innovative design by the renowned and awarded architects Govaert & Vanhoutte, who were selected after a rigorous selection procedure. The building features a modern and eye-catching design, and will be an important asset for the overall appeal of its direct surroundings. It will provide ample space for the various software and system engineering teams, sales and administration departments, and will also include spacious training classes and leisure facilities.

The project was triggered by the continuous growth of Skyline Communications, as the leading supplier of multi-vendor network management software. Skyline’s DataMiner software platform is today used by leading operators in the IPTV, satellite, broadcast and HFC broadband industry around the globe for the end-to-end management of their entire operational ecosystems, across any vendor and technology boundaries. The new head quarter will serve as a pivotal point in these growing global activities, and underlines the company’s commitment to continue to provide its users with the best-of-breed software solutions.

“Skyline Communications offers exciting career opportunities for highly educated and passionate software and ICT engineering talents. We are worldwide at the top of this cutting-edge software technology, which is today already responsible for the management of some of the most important global broadcast and ICT infrastructures, and we are extremely dedicated to further strengthen that position. We are driven to continuously redefine how operators can manage their operational ecosystems more intuitively and more efficiently than ever before,” commented Frederik Vandenberghe, Finance & HR Director at Skyline Communications. “It is our desire to establish here at Izegem a state-of-the-art software research and development center, a real incubator for cutting-edge software technology, and we are hoping to at least double our staff in the next few years.”

Skyline Communications was recently also awarded as “Most Promising Enterprise 2011” by Ernst & Young. Geert Noels, the chairman of the panel of judges for this prestigious award explained: “The judges unanimously selected Skyline Communications as the winner of ‘Most Promising Enterprise 2011’. The winner stands out with a clear vision for its niche and very strong user focus. It has succeeded in offering services to all the leading businesses in its sector in a very short time. Due to excellent profitability the foundations have been laid for further growth.”
