Which do you prefer, on-site customer visits or Teams calls? 

On-site customer visits, without a doubt. You gain so much more insight into your customer when you meet them in person. On many calls, you end up talking to a black screen because people don’t use video. Yet seeing physical reactions of the people you talk to greatly enhances connection and mutual understanding. This really helps in probing what the customer really wants instead of what they think they want. 

What’s your favorite DataMiner project you’ve worked on so far?  

My favorite DataMiner project so far is my recent project with India. Despite the challenges of working across different time zones and dealing with cultural differences in communication, I love it because it's the first project where I could start from a blank sheet, allowing me to learn a lot of new things. 

If you were to start your own band, what would be the name and what kind of tunes would you jam? 

I don’t have a specific name in mind; but with all the musical talent at Skyline, we could form our own band and brainstorm an exciting name—after all, the sky is the limit. 😉 Our tunes could range from pop and soft rock to jazzier melodies. I’m open to a lot of styles, but I’d have to say a hard no to metal. 😉 Sorry to the metal lovers, but you’d definitely need another voice for that. 

Are you a thrill seeker, or do you prefer cozy and easygoing activities? 

Thrills are totally my thing. I find joy in outdoor activities like climbing and hiking in the mountains, especially when rewarded with breathtaking views. Last year in Austria, combining mountain climbing with the Skyfly—essentially a death ride soaring 50 meters above the ground at speeds up to 84 kilometers per hour—was an exhilarating experience. That being said, I also appreciate cozy evenings for a change of pace.  

Which song do you always pick when it’s karaoke time? 

I don’t really have a go-to karaoke song, actually. The songs I like to sing or listen to really depend on the moment and the mood I’m in. Right now, I’m enjoying new songs by Raye like "Worth It” and "Oscar Winning Tears" as well as some classic Disney tunes by Elton John and Phil Collins. Bruno Mars is also on my repeat list with "Leave the Door Open", and of course, Jamiroquai always makes me happy too… You see, it’s just so hard to settle on just one song. 

Quick! Your house is ablaze, and you can save just one cherished thing. What do you pick? 

It might sound a bit clingy, but I'd save a stuffed animal my boyfriend gave me. It goes with me on all my adventures and holidays. Everything else I could replace, but not that.
