Nice to meet you!

Are you ready to leave your mark on the world? Because we are the global leading supplier of end-to-end open monitoring and orchestration software for ICT, media and broadband platforms. Basically, our software platform—called DataMiner—makes sure that you can order your products online, watch the latest episode of your favorite show, or call your friends whenever you need them.

We’re looking for a Solution DevOps Engineer

As a Solution DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up new solutions for our users as well as deploying and maintaining our widely used demo platform. You will be working closely together with our Product Marketing and Sales teams in a dynamic environment where a can-do attitude will take you a long, long way.

DataMiner is deployed by 1500 companies in over 125 countries worldwide.

Let’s get down to business

A glimpse of.your [future]

Transparency is a key value here at Skyline. So let's forget about empty job titles or colorful descriptions for a moment and take a look at what you'd actually be doing here.

  • You will create sample apps for our catalogue (approximately 60% of your time).
  • You will manage the deployment of our Ziine demo platform, which hosts the sample apps, and ensure that its quality and availability are maintained.
  • You will coordinate the development and documentation of said sample apps.
  • You will frequently engage with Product Marketing and customers to gain a better understanding of business goals and manage your backlog effectively.
  • You will actively collaborate with industry-leading technology partners to integrate their products and SaaS offerings into your solutions.
  • You will work closely with our Customer Success Team, inspiring them to achieve success.
  • Your apps will shine on the biggest industry shows globally!

What skills.do you require?

No doubt you know your way around the tech industry. But let's dig a bit deeper into the various technical skills you'll need to get started as a Pre-Sales DevOps Engineer.

  • You know your way around our DataMiner platform and dataminer.services, and keep yourself up to date on its latest features.
  • You have a very good knowledge of connector development and scripting (C#).
  • You are skilled in creating intuitive user interfaces using DataMiner Dashboards, DataMiner Low-Code Apps and MS Visio.
  • You can define and deploy user-defined APIs.
  • You possess the knowledge to utilize the full potential of CI/CD pipelines, enabling others to leverage your work effectively.

Your [competencies]

You'll be working in a highly technical environment prone to constant change and evolution. On top of that, you'll have to collaborate with a great many (marvelous) people. All very exciting! But it also calls for a special kind of mind- and skillset.

  • You have a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree in ICT, Software and/or Telecom. Agile certifications (Agile coach, Product Owner, Scrum Master) are a plus.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • You can work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • You get your kicks from collaborating with other DataMiner users.
  • Yet you are also a team player – after all, teamwork makes the dream work!
  • You have a positive can-do attitude and are eager to go the extra mile every now and then.
  • You are super excited to learn and use all the ins and outs of DataMiner.
  • You have an analytical mind and pay great attention to detail.
  • You have an eye for graphic design and usability as well as for technical architecture and development.
  • English will be your working language.
