We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll ensure that DataMiner operates at its best by prioritizing reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with colleagues across teams to uphold best practices and maintain top-notch service quality. You’ll actively engage with diverse technologies (OpenSearch, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc.), learn continuously, and contribute meaningfully every day.

- You will install our core software and third-party databases on customer premises, taking care of all the necessary configuration.
- You will perform upgrades and migrations of customer infrastructure.
- You will solve any issues that arise during the process, or triage and pass the issues to third-line colleagues as necessary.
- You will be on standby or perform requested activities.
- You will develop action plans for complex infrastructure activities and follow up on their execution.
- You will provide excellent customer communication during activities.
- You will assess and diagnose complex technical problems.
- You will participate in post-incident reviews to identify and help implement improvements.
- You will stay up to date on the latest DevOps technologies and best practices.
What skills.do you require?
Let's dig a bit deeper into the various technical skills you'll need to get started as an Infrastructure Engineer.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP (firewalls, routers, etc.), multithreading, web services, .Net Remoting and Wireshark
- Experience with HTML, XML, client-server systems, and SNMP
- Knowledge of OpenSearch and Elasticsearch would be an advantage, but full training will be provided
- Strong affinity with MS Windows operating systems
- Some knowledge of script languages is an asset
