We’re looking for a Finance and Accounting Officer

As a member of the Finance & Accounting team, you’ll work closely with our VP Finance & Accounting and take on a mix of executive, supporting, analytical, and coordinating responsibilities. As a dynamic team player, you help ensure smooth administration, provide support for reporting, and monitor processes with a focus on detail and efficiency. • You will support the VP Finance & Accounting with ad hoc projects, reporting, and various administrative tasks.
• You will perform controlling activities and cost analyses, and help further develop these processes.
• You will be the responsible accountant for one of the Belgian entities, handling purchase invoices and payments.
• You will assist with accounting and tax closing activities for our Belgian entities.
• You will follow up on the accounting, payments, and VAT returns of several foreign entities, in close collaboration with local external accountants.
• You will identify and help implement improvement opportunities in administrative processes.
• You will serve as a back-up for the reception, when needed.

What skills.do you require?

No doubt you know your way around numbers. But let's dig a bit deeper into the various technical skills you'll need to get started as a Finance and Accounting Officer.

• At least two years of practical experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Perpetual (our ERP system) is a definite plus
• Knowledge of Power BI is a nice asset for reporting and analyses
