Skyline Communications, global leader in end-to-end multi-vendor network management solutions for the IPTV, satellite, HFC broadband and broadcast industry, announces the nearing launch of its DataMiner Live Online Services. These new online services provide live update notification and download services to operators running DataMiner for the end-to-end network management of their operation.
“Today, DataMiner has grown to become the undisputed leader in end-to-end multi-vendor network management. First and foremost, DataMiner is renowned for its very unique network management features and capabilities, which go beyond anything that has ever been done before in this industry. And because of that, the solution is today deployed by operators in more than 85 countries around the world, and is integrated with more than 3500 products from over 400 industry vendors,” says Ben Vandenberghe, Sales & Marketing Director at Skyline Communications. “With the DataMiner Live Online Services we want to make sure that our vast global user community can leverage their DataMiner platform to the maximum extent possible, and that they can always benefit from the latest and greatest that our technology has to offer.”
With DataMiner Live Online Services, customers will automatically receive subtle notifications in their DataMiner client application announcing new updates of the core DataMiner software as well as the deployed DataMiner Drivers that interface their platform with third-party devices and systems. Upon receiving notifications, users will instantly be able to access all associated release notes, and a single click will suffice to securely download the updates and to start deploying them.
On the back end, at Skyline, the DataMiner Live Online Services will be fully integrated with the various production procedures that run through the Skyline development and quality assurance departments, resulting in a highly integrated end-to-end software delivery process that effectively eliminates cumbersome manual labor.
The DataMiner Live Online Services will be rolled out to the DataMiner customer base as part of the upcoming DataMiner 8.0 upgrade, and will be on display at IBC 2013 in Amsterdam.
