Fully managed DataMiner on AWS

“Our customers want flexibility and cloud-native scalability without added complexity,” said Jens Gnad, Managing Director at LOGIC. “By offering DataMiner as a managed service on AWS, we eliminate the infrastructure headaches so our customers can focus on improving their workflows and innovating their business. Together with Skyline and AWS, we now provide a full ecosystem, from workflow design to daily operations.”

The cloud offering, fully managed by LOGIC media solutions, includes professional services to design, integrate, and operate customized solutions that combine Skyline’s DataMiner platform with AWS Media Services and related cloud infrastructure.

“LOGIC media solutions is the right partner for this initiative,” commented Lars von Oertzen, Business Development Director at Skyline Communications. “They bring deep experience in cloud architecture and broadcast integration, backed by a partnership with AWS dating back to 2012 and including the achievement of the AWS advanced partner status and the Media & Entertainment Services Competency. Their ISO27001 certification and team of certified AWS Solution Architects also provide the foundation for a secure and scalable AWS environment with expert implementation and ongoing support.”

Continuous evolution

LOGIC’s managed service offering on AWS perfectly complements Skyline’s xOps vision for open, modular, and scalable DataMiner deployments. While Skyline already offers its own Azure-based managed services, the new AWS option makes it even easier for media organizations to adopt DataMiner in the cloud, with the same reliability and performance they expect from on-premises environments.

“Moving to the cloud gives media organizations the flexibility to adapt to change quickly. By running DataMiner as a managed service, teams no longer need to worry about maintaining infrastructure, allowing them to focus on innovating their operations better, faster, and at a lower cost. And that’s what xOps is all about,” concluded Lars.
